I’ve been doing a lot of cooking over the last several months. Throughout my life, I’ve been the “meat and potatoes” guy in our family. I made all the big meals but they weren’t all that special. Anyone can roast a turkey, make mashed potatoes, and do sides like sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, and turnip.
Where I’ve taken my game is into making things with more complex tastes included several comfort food dishes that I now make all the time.
