I have been riding on a Trainer during the winter months but have not been out-of-doors. My chemo makes me struggle with cold which is 6°C or lower. What happens is I go numb which is a segue into pain. This includes my GI so eating ice cream is a no-starter particularly when I was on the drug Oxaliplatin. Now that I’ve switched to a more moderate drug, Capecitabine I am still sensitive to cold but it’s not so severe. I can now eat ice cream.
